Antonio Rodríguez may have lost his position at first-choice goalkeeper at Chivas, but there’s still a spring in the veteran’s step.
Chivas posted a video on their Twitter account of the 34-year-old making a superb save in pre-season training.
‘Toño’ showed amazing speed, agility and quickness to hop through hurdles before getting across to pluck a shot out of the top corner.
And the pièce de résistance was that he managed to hold on to the ball.
Chivas are playing Monterrey in a pre-season friendly in San Antonio on Sunday.
Rodríguez was named on the bench, with Raúl Gudiño getting the nod from manager Víctor Manuel Vucetich to start between the posts.
