We are just hours away from the match that has Guadalajara buzzing, as this Saturday Chivas will host their city rivals in another edition of the Clásico Tapatío, a match that will not only determine who rules Guadalajara, but also represents an opportunity for the Rebaño Sagrado to move into the top six in the standings.
To write a new chapter in the oldest rivalry in Mexican soccer, Gabriel Milito has called up 22 players, aware that victory is not only for the pride of the region, but also because the three points at stake are vital for direct qualification for the playoffs.
Are there any changes to the squad?
- Alan Pulido returns to the squad and could get some playing time against Nextipac.
- It is worth remembering that Richard Ledezma is not eligible for the Clásico Tapatío, as he was sent off at the end of the match against Gallos.
- Javier Hernández continues to train lightly and is not eligible for the Clásico Tapatío on matchday 15, nor is Alan Mozo, who is still recovering from injury.
- Isaac Brizuela and Luis Olivas were not considered for this match.
