Inter's journey in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 comes to an end. The Nerazzurri were knocked out in the Round of 16 in a competitive, hard-battled and rather unlucky match against Fluminense, opened in the third minute by Cano's goal. The goal was well defended by the Brazilian side despite constant pressing, close chances, the woodwork being hit and the final push from Inter who were desperate to find an equaliser by any means possible.
