Christian Pulisic moving to Manchester United could be a transfer quietly developing behind the scenes, following recent comments from Gio Reyna.

Reyna, who plays for Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach, recently sat down with journalist Alessandro Schiavone. While the conversation covered a range of topics, the midfielder inevitably discussed his high-flying compatriot, Pulisic.

Pulisic reborn in Milan

After failing to make his mark at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea, Pulisic has reinvented himself at San Siro.

Since joining AC Milan in 2023, the 27‑year‑old has become the Rossoneri’s most influential player.

In 116 appearances for the Italian giants, he has registered 42 goals and 25 assists—numbers that underline his transformation.

Naturally, clubs across Europe will be monitoring his resurgence and considering whether he is worth spending significant funds on.

INEOS may well be among them, which explains why Schiavone pressed Reyna on the possibility of Pulisic moving to Old Trafford.

Reyna on Pulisic’s United dilemma

Asked whether Pulisic should leave Milan for United, Reyna told Milan News:

“I’m sure he’ll make the best decision for himself. It’s none of my business.”

Pressed further on whether this could be a once‑in‑a‑lifetime opportunity, the Dortmund star added:

“Definitely! I wasn’t aware of this interest, but I’m convinced he’ll do the right thing. He’s flying at Milan, though. I just hope he continues to play well and arrives in top condition for the World Cup, because we’ll need him.”

United could certainly use a “dangerous player” of Pulisic’s calibre to sharpen their attack. His pace, directness and creativity would add a fresh dimension to their forward line.

Why Pulisic should relish Old Trafford switch

As a boyhood United fan, persuading him to leave Milan for M16 should not prove difficult.

If United can convince Milan to part with their most consistent performer, personal terms are unlikely to be an issue. For Pulisic, the decision ought to be straightforward: he should relish the chance to help restore United to the summit of English football.
