Club Brugge forward has emerged as a new transfer target for the Gunners
According to The Athletic, Arsenal are exploring a deal for the Club Brugge winger as Mikel Arteta attempts to bolster his attacking options ahead of the new season.
The report also states that while any move for Tzolis is expected to cost a fee in the region of €40million (£34.5million), he will not impact Arsenal interest in Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers or other options to strengthen across the forward line.
The Greece international, who faced the Gunners in the Champions League this season, is coming of a fine individual campaign after netting 22 goals in 52 appearances for Brugge across all competitions.
As such, his form has not only alerted Arsenal, but Premier League rivals Manchester United and Crystal Palace too.
However, after ruling out a move to the Conference League winners, Tzolis issued a come-and-get-me-plea to Man United when addressing rumours surrounding his future earlier in the season.

In an interview with Belgian news outlet Het Nieuwsblad, the 24-year-old said: “United could convince me. Such a massive club with so much history.
“It would be hard to say no to that.
“It would have to be a Champions League team from England, Germany, Spain, or Italy.
“Only PSG is a better option than those clubs."
Tzolis’ Man Utd admission is hardly ideal for Arsenal and Arteta. Although, with Patrick Dorgu expected to continue operating in a more advanced role next season, United’s need for a left-winger is far less pressing than the Gunners.
Furthermore, with the Greek open to joining a “Champions League team from England”, the Gunners certainly tick that box to suggest a deal can be completed.
