Chungbuk Cheongju sign Enzo Monteiro on loan from Santos for K-League 2 | OneFootball

Chungbuk Cheongju have signed Santos striker Enzo Monteiro on loan for the K-League 2 until the end of this season, the club said. He turns 22 in May.

Before departing, Santos extended his deal, previously valid until 29 May 2027, which now runs until December next year.

In 2024 he made his senior debut, playing 60 minutes in a 2-0 win over Paysandu at Vila Belmiro on 20 April in the Série B opener.

Earlier, under former coach Fábio Carille, the Bolivian was promoted from the under-20s in early March and underwent strength work.

He later returned to the youth set-up for the Paulista, Brasileiro and Aspirantes, finishing with 35 appearances and 19 goals.

Last year he was loaned to Auda FK, recording one assist and five goals in 39 matches across the Virsliga, the Latvian Cup, which he won, and the Conference League. Before that loan, he featured in the Copa São Paulo, scoring two in three, then aged out of the academy and turned professional.

Santos also loaned João Victor Fernandes and Andrey Quintino to Confiança (SE), Luisão to Góias, Hayner to Vila Nova, Nathan to Sport, Hyan to Avaí and Patrick to Remo.
