Palmeiras and Botafogo each place four players in the top 20. Palmeiras are also represented by right-back Agustín Giay and left-back Jefté, while Botafogo feature Álvaro Montoro, Matheus Martins, Jordan Barrera and Mateo Ponte.

Clubs beyond Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo are present too, including Viery Fernandes of Grêmio, Victor Gabriel of Internacional, Román Gómez of Bahia, Lucas Ronier of Coritiba, Victor Hugo of Atlético-MG and Keny Arroyo of Cruzeiro.

Ronier draws particular focus. The only Paraná-based inclusion sits 12th, and at 21 he is enjoying his best spell, recording seven goal contributions in 17 games this season, three goals and four assists.

The list also features Breno Bidon and João Pedro of Corinthians, Maik Gomes of São Paulo, Ignacio Sosa of RB Bragantino and Wallace Yan of Flamengo. CIES assessed eight areas of the game across the last six months, weighing minutes, match importance and league strength.
