Erling Haaland and Antoine Semenyo have been nominated for the Premier League's EA Sports Player of the Season award.

The City duo are up against six other candidates for this prestigious award which take in only Premier League matches.

Haaland, who won the prize in 2022/23 has enjoyed another wonderful campaign.

With 26 goals scored so far, the Norwegian is four goals clear of nearest rival Thiago in the race for a third Premier League Golden Boot having won previously in 2022/23 and 2023/24.

His eight assists is also easily the best of any striker in the Premier League, and his 34 goals involvements is more than any other player in 2025/26.

Meanwhile, Semenyo, who joined City last January, is also a contender.

With 16 goals and four assists this campaign – which includes the first part of the campaign as a Bournemouth player – the Ghanaian forward has enjoyed a wonderful season.

His 20 goal involvements is also only bettered by team-mate Haaland and Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes (27).

Fernandes is one of the six other players nominated, along with Arsenal trio David Raya, Gabriel and Declan Rice, plus Brentford forward Thiago and Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White.

The public vote is now open, and the winner will be announced on 23 May 11am.
