Manchester City kept the Premier League title race alive with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium.
With one eye on Saturday’s FA Cup final, Pep Guardiola made six changes and left several key players on the bench, including Erling Haaland and Jeremy Doku.
City initially looked sluggish, but Phil Foden provided the spark midway through the first half.
The England midfielder produced a brilliant backheel to release Antoine Semenyo, who fired confidently past Dean Henderson for the opener. Minutes later, Foden was involved again as Omar Marmoush spun inside the box and calmly finished to double the lead.
Palace threatened briefly through Tyrick Mitchell, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reacted sharply to preserve City’s clean sheet.
Substitute Rayan Cherki helped create the third late on, setting up Savinho to seal the win and move City back to within two points of leaders Arsenal with two matches remaining.
