Last season we won our first eight matches in the competition before going out Real after a penalty shootout and also lifted the European Super Cup for the first time.

The Premier League has six clubs in the top 20 of UEFA's club coefficient rankings with Liverpool in fourth, Chelsea in ninth, Manchester United in 14th, West Ham in 16th and Arsenal 19th.

City's record also helped England come out on top of the association club co-efficients ahead of Italy, Spain, Germany and France.

After winning the Premier League title for a record-breaking fourth season in a row, City will be in the Champions League again for a 14th consecutive season.

The competition will take on a new 32-team format with eight matches against different opponents replacing the group stage.

City will find out our opponents when the league stage draw for the 2024/25 Champions League is made on 29 August 2024.
