We enter the fixture looking to return to winning ways after we frustratingly held to a 1-1 draw with Chelsea in our previous assignment.

However, with Fabian Hurzeler’s side beating Burnley last time our, we will have to be at our very best to collect three points at home.

With the busy festive fixture list continuing, FPL managers will be keeping an eye on all Gameweek 21 fixtures in a bid to boost their points returns this winter.

Read our latest Scout report below ahead of Tuesday 6 January at 18:30 (UK).

CITY STAR

The return of Rodri (£6.3) is welcome news for Pep Guardiola, and Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers ahead of Gameweek 21.

Rodri gave a typically commanding midfield display in his first start on return from injury in GW20, making a match-leading 16 defensive contributions, which helped him earn a bonus point.

In GW20, no player created more chances (four) than Rodri and he ranked second in Sunday’s match against Chelsea for passes into the penalty area (three).

Brighton have won only once on their travels in their last eight attempts in all competitions, which suggests a resurgent Rodri can deliver more returns as a low owned (0.4%) differential at the Etihad in GW21.

ONE TO WATCH

Danny Welbeck (£6.3m) is Brighton’s leading scorer this season amongst the forwards only Erling Haaland (£15.1m) and Igor Thiago (£6.9m) have scored more than his eight goals.

DIFFERENTIALS

Elsewhere, Morgan Gibbs-White (£7.3m) and Nathan Collins (£4.9m) are two low-owned gems worth considering this gameweek.

Gibbs-White is Nottingham Forest’s top scorer and the midfielder has had the most shots (42), most big chances (7) and second most chances created (23) for Forest this season.

In the last four gameweeks Brentford’s Nathan Collins (£4.9m) has delivered two clean sheets an assist and a goal.
