Revealed: FPL prices for all City’s new signings

Enzo Maresca’s side welcome Frank Lampard’s newly-promoted Coventry to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 5 September, with kick-off set for 15:00 (UK).

CITY STAR

Erling Haaland (£15.5m) opened his account in Gameweek 2 with a brace against Crystal Palace. The Norwegian also picked up maximum bonus points on his way to a 13-point haul. No player has had more shots in the box (nine) or shots on target (five) so far this season.

Last season Haaland averaged 7.4 points-per-match in home matches with six double-digit hauls.

With this in mind, many FPL managers will be activating their Triple Captain chip on Haaland this week. This looks like a smart move.

Against newly-promoted teams at the Etihad last season, Haaland returned two goals and one assist.

ONE TO WATCH

Bobby Thomas (£4.0m) is Coventry’s top-scoring player in Fantasy with one clean sheet, two bonus points and two defensive contribution points.

DIFFERENTIALS

Elsewhere, Yoane Wissa (£6.0m) and Diego Gomez (£5.0m) are low-owned gems who have good potential in Gameweek 3.

Wissa has notched a goal and an assist in the opening two Gameweeks, registering six shots and two big chances in that time.

Brighton’s Gomez has started the season on the right wing and picked up an assist in each Gameweek ahead of a home match against Leeds United.
