Pick up our jam-packed matchday programme for Saturday’s clash with Everton.
Our Toffees edition features Jeremy Doku on the cover, the wing wonder in celebratory mood on the front.
With the pages, we have a main interview with starlet Nico O’Reilly.
O’Reilly, fresh from being promoted to the senior England set-up for the October internationals, talks about his rapid progression at City, the stunning Academy that has helped catapult him into Pep Guardiola’s team and what he hopes to achieve with the Blues after signing a new contract earlier this season.
He also offers a heartfelt thank you to his mum who he says has been making sacrifices for him since he was a little boy.
We also celebrate Black History Month in this edition as we hear from acclaimed writer Lemn Sissay OBE, who has penned ‘The Stadium Speaks’ - a special work to celebrate the influential Black figures who have helped shape our Club.
We also speak to former player Stan Horne, with next month marking the 60th anniversary of him becoming the first Black player to wear our famous sky blue shirt when he made his City debut in the 1-0 victory over Derby County at Maine Road.
We also have ‘The Big Feature’ which looks at our remarkable record at Everton’s former ground Goodison Park while King of the Kippax editor Dave Wallace reflects on historic matches with the Toffees.
We remember the life of Danny Herman who proved to be a valuable asset for Malcolm Allison during our great years of the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Danny, who died earlier this month, came in to work with the first team as a fitness coach in that illustrious era and helped us win four major trophies.
There’s a wealth of other great content within the 84 pages.
There are the usual favourites like Pep Guardiola’s manager notes, our ‘In the City’ news and Mike Summerbee’s ‘Buzzer’ column.
Dr Gary James continues with his column called ‘Five, 15, 50’ focusing on seasonal highlights from those specific years.
Matchday Live commentator Alistair Mann brings you his latest ‘Last Mann Standing’ column while there’s also the usual focus on what’s happening across our other teams - EDS, Under-18s and Women’s.
Make sure you get your hands on the official matchday programme, which costs £4, because it really is the perfect way to get you in the mood for the big game.
As well as being available for purchase at the ground, supporters who may not be able to attend the game can also order it online.
What’s more, fans will also be able to order a programme subscription, with three bundle opportunities available.
