United are coming off the back of a third successive Tyne-Wear derby win over rivals Sunderland Women, with second-half goals from Deanna Cooper and Emily Murphy enough to secure all three points at St. James' Park.

While last weekend's win was enjoyable, Ditchburn is keen for all focus to be on the club's final Subway Women's League Cup fixture against the Toffees this Sunday.

Here are some of the main talking points ahead of the cup clash at the Gateshead International Stadium:

On last Sunday's win against Sunderland at St. James' Park…

"It was a massive honour and a privilege, and something that will last long in my memory, but it’s the same for me as it is for the players - we’ve got to move on now with full focus on the Everton game."

On facing Everton, another side from the Women's Super League…

"We plan and prepare in the same way as we would for any game. We're very aware of the challenge because Everton are a well-established WSL team full of international players with a very good manager.

"We're looking forward to the challenges that we will face, and it's a good chance to see where we are in comparison."

On trying to put together consistent performances…

"We're all really driven to remain consistent, which is an area that we've identified as not being too good at this season.

"We've managed to put some good performances together, so for us to go into this game and keep that high standard is really important."

On the upcoming international break…

"I think we'd always like to continue playing from a club perspective - you'd always want to keep bouncing from game to game.

"We're in a good moment right now, but we've got an international break, so we'll make the most of it, get some good recovery in and hopefully get one or two people back who are returning from injury."
