With the Ghirls preparing for their penultimate league fixture of the campaign, Grant Scott’s side will be aiming to bounce back to winning ways.

The Hoops suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to Hearts last weekend but will be looking to round off the season in a positive manner.

Celtic travel to Broadwood Stadium as they prepare to take on Rangers in their final away league outing of the season.

And speaking ahead of the game, defender Claire Walsh insisted that the squad have been putting in the work as they prepare for Sunday.

The centre-back also insisted they will do all they can to round off the campaign in a positive manner, with a Scottish Cup final also on the horizon.

She said: “Our work on the training pitch this week has been really good. Obviously we didn’t get the result we wanted on Sunday.

‘So, we are looking to bounce back, and we really want to finish the season on a high.’

“At this point in the season it’s tough game after tough game, so we’re really looking forward to it.

“As a footballer, these are the games that you want to play. They are huge and this time of year, it’s exciting. All the games mean a lot.

“In the league, we’re maybe not in a place we would like to be. So we need to finish on a high and finish as high as possible.”
