Claude Puel’s first Nice XI, Everton starts, Sanson captain, Wahi on bench

Claude Puel has shaken up his first game back at Nice. The 18-year-old Everton starts ahead of Salis Abdul Samed and Morgan Sanson captains against Strasbourg at 7pm.
According to L'Équipe, the Nice-born Brazilian is the son of former Nice midfielder Everson, who made 61 appearances and scored 11 goals between 2002 and 2004, and the brother of Everson Jr, now at Montpellier. Puel, 64, takes charge of a side sitting 13th in Ligue 1.
He is without 16 players for this fixture, though Elye Wahi is available two days after joining on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt and starts on the bench.

For Strasbourg, Liam Rosenior is reported to be leaving for Chelsea after the match and lost Andrew Omobamidele and Sebastian Nanasi to late withdrawals. There were no surprises in their line-up, with Mike Penders in goal, Ismaël Doukouré as captain and Joaquin Panichelli leading the line.
