Claudio Ranieri is working on Roma’s formation as the big showdown with Napoli edges closer with each day.

The veteran technician is set on switching things up and reverting to a classic 4-4-2 set-up, reports Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo.

According to Biafora, Ranieri wants more stability and defensive solidity.

In his first series of training drills, Ranieri has been trying out Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini on the left flank.
