Roma manager Claudio Ranieri spoke to the media ahead of Sunday’s showdown against Milan at San Siro.
”I will decide the starting line-up tomorrow. Everyone is recovered except for Cristante.”
“All the players have my trust,” he added.
”Playing at the San Siro? Our fans are our strength, our blood. It’s one thing to be a professional with an audience that pushes you, we must persevere in a hostile environment.”
”Cristante? The blame has fallen on those who should be blamed for his relapse.”
”I have a doubly heavy task. I’m carrying it forward with all my enthusiasm and love I have for this club,” he added.
”I want Dybala, Paredes and Hummels to be part of the team next year as well.”
”Milan has very strong players, it takes the effort of the whole team to put them in difficulty. We have to play a hell of a game.”
”I try to convey serenity and tranquillity to my players. These games speak for themselves, everyone would like to play. I am confident we will have a good game at San Siro.”
”Pellegrini has my full confidence. If offers arrive we will evaluate them. I hope he can stay with us, but he must be happy.”
”Saelemaekers has settled very well in Rome, he is one of those players we want to keep. It also depends on Abraham, let’s see how the situation will evolve.”
