Clermont Foot are bottom of the table and almost destined to go down to Ligue 2 next season which will end a three-year stay in the top flight. A visit to the Parc des Princes is never an ideal situation even if Clermont have gone unbeaten against PSG in their last two meetings.
The management team of Pascal Gastien and his assistant/successor Sébastien Bichard will swap last weekend’s 3-4-3 for a more defensive-minded 3-5-2 formation. Clermont will swap wingers for wingbacks meaning there’s no room in the side for Bilal Boutobba who drops to the bench for the fullback Neto Borges.
Mehdi Zeffane and Yoël Armougom will make way for extra midfielders in the team as Clermont attempt to consolidate the centre of the pitch. Johan Gastien and Habib Keïta will likely be played on either side of Yohann Magnin.
