Rangers defender Clinton Nsiala has been spotted in first-team training after former manager Russell Martin bombed him out of the picture at the Ibrox club.
Rangers take on Norwegian club Brann in the Europa League today away from home, but Nsiala will not be involved as he was not included in the squad for the European competition.
The Frenchman was part of the Light Blues team under both Philippe Clement and Barry Ferguson, but Martin told him he could leave during the summer transfer window and wanted him out.
Nsiala rejected a move to Dynamo Kyiv and was also training away from the rest of the Rangers first-team under the former manager.
However, the arrival of Rohl has brought a clean slate for everyone, with the former French youth international spotted training alongside others.
The Bears return to Scottish Premiership action on Sunday when they host Kilmarnock, and while Nsiala will not be involved given his lack of match fitness, the 21-year-old could be part of the matchday squad.
He made 13 appearances across all competitions last term and will need to be in fine form going forward this term to break into the starting XI.
Rohl will be picking his own team and giving everyone equal opportunities to impress, which could see Nsiala force his way back into the team.
His return to training is an opportunity to prove himself all over again, and the onus is now on him to convince the German and the coaching crew of his quality.
Rohl will be desperate to hit the ground running at Rangers, and a victory away from home tonight will be a perfect start for him.
The Light Blues have won just once in the Scottish Premiership after eight games so far this term, and picking up all three points this weekend will be huge.
