Arsenal forward Cloe Lacasse is likely to depart the club this summer, according to a report.
The 31-year-old signed for the Gunners from Benfica last summer, having been in Portugal for four years. Prior to that, the Canada international represented Iceland's IBV and the Toronto Lady Lynx.
A report from Arseblog’s Tim Stillman suggests Lacasse is expected to depart this transfer window after just one season at the club. The NWSL is tipped as her most likely destination.
In the 2023/24 campaign, Lacasse made 23 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions and scored five goals. That included a stunning late equaliser against Manchester United on only her second WSL appearance that she struggled to build on. This summer, she was part of Canada’s Olympics squad in Paris and made three appearances en-route to the quarter-finals.

Arsenal finished third in the WSL standings last term, behind champions Chelsea and runners-up Manchester City. They ended just five points adrift top spot after 22 games, with 16 wins.
It’s been a busy summer for the Gunners in an effort to strengthen the squad. They have made two attacking additions, with the arrival of Mariona Caldentey on a free transfer from Barcelona earlier in the window, and the signing of Rosa Kafaji from Swedish side BK Hacken this week.
The north London club will begin the new campaign on Sunday 22 September. They will take on likely title rivals Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium.
