Club América set for Estadio Banorte return with four April fixtures

Club América’s return to their home has been made official, with Estadio Azteca now known as Estadio Banorte. They will play four games there in April after nearly two years away for World Cup refurbishment.

According to Americayya.net, the first fixture back is Cruz Azul on Saturday 11 April at 9pm, part of Clausura 2026 matchday 14.

The Concacaf Champions Cup quarter-final second leg follows on Tuesday 14 April at 9.30pm, when Nashville visit.

League action continues against Toluca on Saturday 18 April at 9pm, for matchday 15. The initial run ends with Atlas on Saturday 25 April at the same time.

For now, those are the only fixtures scheduled at the Azteca. Any liguilla games there remain uncertain, with FIFA requiring stadiums to be vacated one month before the World Cup.
