Club América will return to Estadio Azteca from Apertura 2026, sharing the ground with Atlante.
According to Americayya.net, América left the Azteca for several years while it underwent renovation for the 2026 World Cup.

They played some matches there last tournament, then departed again once FIFA took control of the venue for the World Cup.
Until a few days ago, it was a fact that three teams would play their home matches at the now Estadio Banorte, América, Atlante and Cruz Azul.
Days before the tournament, La Máquina chose to move out and will instead play home games at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes, previously a home for América.
One question remains, whether América Femenil also return to the historic ground or share with Cruz Azul at Ciudad de los Deportes.
