According to Glorioso 1904, Club Brugge remain keen on Andreas Schjelderup, even as Benfica have recently leaned towards keeping the Norwegian.
The winger has been in the spotlight since a standout Champions League display against Real Madrid.
Brugge, who secured a Champions League play-off place by beating Marseille, are still exploring a deal for Benfica’s No 21.
Roma, who had previously shown interest, reconnected with Benfica in recent hours to ask about the terms of a possible deal. Lazio are also in the frame, while Benfica are not looking to sell and have shown an intention to renew his contract.
Schjelderup, valued at €14 million, has made 26 appearances this season, 13 in Liga Portugal Betclic, eight in the Champions League, four in the Taça de Portugal and one in the Taça da Liga. Across 1,236 minutes, he has scored four goals and provided three assists.
