AC Milan have not received an offer from Aston Villa for Rafael Leao, despite Villa showing interest in the Portuguese attacker.
Villa have had an eye on Leao throughout the summer and were considered to be concrete suitors of the player last month.
AC Milan are happy to offload Leao for the right price and several sides have explored a possible deal to take him away from the Rossoneri.
He is still at the San Siro however heading into the final week of the summer transfer window and his future remains unclear.
Aston Villa are looking for attacking reinforcements, with Ollie Watkins keen to move to Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal and expected to be sold.

Unai Emery wants to bring in Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea, but if Watkins leaves and the Blues star arrives, Aston Villa would just have replaced a player rather than strengthening.
It has been suggested that they are picking up the pace in their pursuit of Leao.
However, according to Italian journalist Luca Bianchin, AC Milan have not yet received any offer from Villa for the Portuguese.
Aston Villa could be exploring a deal with Leao’s camp first before then going to AC Milan and trying to strike a deal.
It was suggested last month that Leao would be very much open to a move to Villa Park this summer if the opportunity came up.

Leao clocked regular game time for AC Milan over the course of last season as he scored nine times in 29 Serie A outings.
The Portuguese attacker has been a regular contributor for the Rossoneri in recent seasons since his move from Lille, but there is a growing sense his time at the club is coming to an end.
All eyes will be on whether Aston Villa do soon put a firm proposal on AC Milan’s table to try to bring Leao to the Premier League.
