Our visit will include participation in the 2026 Sydney Super Cup, including a fixture against Chelsea on Saturday 1 August, 19:45 KO (local time), at the 83,500 capacity Accor Stadium - the first time we have ever played our London rivals outside the UK.
We will also play a fixture against A-League side Sydney FC on Wednesday 29 July at the Allianz Stadium, 19:45 KO (local time).
This will be the first time the Club has visited Sydney since 2015, when we beat Sydney FC 1-0 in front of a packed Accor Stadium, and the fifth time in total that the Club has visited Australia since that year. Most recently the Club visited both Perth and Melbourne in the space of a year in 2023-24, facing Premier League rivals West Ham United and Newcastle United.
Members of local Tottenham Hotspur Official Supporters’ Clubs will be given priority access to tickets for our two 2026 Sydney Super Cup fixtures via a pre-sale commencing at 10am on Tuesday 9 December (local time in Sydney, Monday 8 December at 11pm in UK). An exclusive link will be shared for access to tickets.
Tickets will go on general sale at 1pm on Friday 12 December (local time in Sydney, 2am in UK) via the Sydney Super Cup website www.sydneysupercup.com
The Club will also hold an open training session for fans on Friday 31 July, 18:00 (local time), at the Allianz Stadium. Tickets will go on sale at www.sydneysupercup.com on Friday 12 December.
As is Club tradition on tours, players and staff will be engaging with our fans, supporting good causes and celebrating local culture throughout our time in Sydney. This will include meeting with the Sydney chapter of our long-established Oz Spurs Official Supporters’ Club, as well as representatives from our 11 other chapters from across Australia.
Alongside this, the Club’s football development coaches will deliver our renowned technical programme for local young players and coach education workshops, showcasing the authentic training methods developed within the Club’s Academy, helping young players to reach their full potential.
Tottenham Hotspur Head Coach, Thomas Frank, said: “Sydney is one of the world’s most iconic locations for sport and I’m excited to be able to take the team there to play two matches, including one against one of our biggest rivals.
“I’ve heard all about our passionate fanbase in Australia and it’s something the Club is very proud of. I can’t wait to experience that for myself and I know the supporters will love the opportunity to watch us take on Sydney FC and Chelsea in their home country.
“While in Sydney, as well as engaging with our fans, it’s important that we explore the local area and celebrate its culture – that is something we are all looking forward to.”
