Serie A clubs have reportedly met chief referee Gianluca Rocchi to discuss growing concerns over poor refereeing across the league.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the teams urged the designator to take immediate action to improve consistency.
It’s fair to say that Serie A is again becoming notorious for scandalous decision made by the referees.
Furthermore, Inter Milan have already fallen victim to controversial calls more than once this season.
Indeed, disappointing officiating cost the Nerazzurri six points against Juventus and Napoli.

Inter president Beppe Marotta directly asked Rocchi what he needs to ensure greater fairness in officiating across Serie A matches.
Meanwhile, Gianluca Rocchi provided an honest response, saying: “I would need to see the referees every week, not just once every three weeks.
“I would need a staff to follow them consistently and continuously, including a psychologist, especially for VAR.”
Rocchi has taken actions against several referees this season, including Maurizio Mariani, Simone Sozza, and Daniele Bindoni.
However, punishing officials after the damage was already done does little to comfort the teams.
Therefore, clubs are demanding stricter oversight and clearer guidelines to prevent errors before they affect the outcome of matches.
