Cody Gakpo went off with an ankle injury for the Netherlands against Serbia in the Nations League.
According to L'Équipe, their attacking options were already reduced by injuries to Donyell Malen and Brian Brobbey.

Ruben Van Bommel took his place from the bench.
Van Bommel had registered an assist against Germany in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
