The grass at Coimbra City Stadium, where the Cândido de Oliveira Super Cup was held, was allegedly painted before Saturday’s match between FC Porto and Torreense (1-0), as shown by images that have since emerged.

The condition of the pitch had already been criticized by FC Porto, both before and after the match. During the game, Jan Bednarek, the Dragons’ centre-back, suffered an injury, prompting the blue-and-white club to file a formal complaint with the FPF and consider seeking compensation.
