Chelsea are set to make a short trip across the capital to take on struggling Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, looking to preserve their 17-match unbeaten run against the Eagles.

The Blues are chasing back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time since November, and could also extend their winning streak to three games on the bounce.

Liam Rosenior has had a fine start to life at Chelsea, winning three of his four games in charge so far (L1).

The only defeat in that run came against Arsenal, with the Blues falling to a 3-2 defeat in the first leg of their EFL Cup semi-final clash at Stamford Bridge.

Since then, Chelsea have kept back-to-back clean sheets, and Rosenior will hope for more of the same when the Blues head east of the capital later today.

Chelsea are heading into this fixture on the back of a narrow 1-0 Champions League win against Cypriot top-flight side Pafos in midweek.

That win moved them up to eighth in the Champions League standings, keeping their hopes of securing automatic qualification to the last 16 alive.

The win against Pafos came after a 2-0 success over Brentford, which ended a deplorable run of five Premier League games without victory.

How Chelsea could line up

Rosenior has made it clear that he will rotate his squad as much as he can to keep everyone fit, particularly after losing a couple of players to injury.

That means he could make up to seven changes from the side that beat Pafos in midweek.

Robert Sanchez should return in goal, with Marc Cucurella, Trevoh Chalobah, Wesley Fofana, and Reece James ahead of the Spanish goalkeeper.

Cole Palmer was left out of the squad that faced Pafos, but should return for the game against Palace.

His return would move Enzo Fernandez back to central midfield alongside Moises Caicedo, while Alejandro Garnacho and Estevao line up on the flanks.

Rosenior has named Estevao as one of the players he wants to protect, but his cameo performance in midweek should give him the nod ahead of Pedro Neto.

Meanwhile, Joao Pedro could replace Liam Delap at the top end of the pitch.
