Michael O’Neill has a busy summer ahead as Stoke City boss as he looks to bring the team to within promotion contention.
A disappointing end to last season saw the Potters drop off in the race for a top six place.
But now the former Northern Ireland manager will be hoping his team can sustain a challenge throughout the entire campaign.
The summer transfer window offers the 52-year old a chance to improve his first team squad as he prepares for his fourth season in charge at the Bet365 Stadium.
Here is the latest Stoke transfer news ahead of pre-season beginning going into July…
Nathan Collins clause
Former Stoke defender Collins has been linked with a move away from current club Burnley this summer.
The Irishman performed well at the end of last season and has caught the attention of multiple Premier League sides.
This is good news for the Potters, who stand to profit from any potential sale of the centre back from the Clarets.
Stoke hold a sell-on clause that will likely entitle them to a percentage of the sale or profit from any potential sale of Collins, with a £20 million sale seen as possible.
Afobe sold
Stoke striker Benik Afobe has officially left the club.
The forward spent the previous campaign on loan with Championship rivals Millwall.

The 29-year old has now sealed a permanent exit to the Lions, following a breakdown in talks with Club Brugge over a move.
Afobe signed for Stoke in 2019, but spent loan spells at The Den and in Turkey with Trabzonspor.
He played 58 league games for Stoke.
Oakley-Boothe loan
Stoke confirmed the exit of Tashan Oakley-Boothe on loan to Lincoln CIty earlier this week.
The 22-year old is set to spend the entire campaign with the Imps.
The midfielder arrived at Stoke from Tottenham Hotspur in January 2020, and has made 16 appearances for the first team squad, seven of which came from the start.
But he was unable to break into O’Neill’s side last season, so has now gone out on loan in order to gain experience at a senior level.
