The Colorado Rapids are set to appoint Tottenham Hotspur assistant Matt Wells as their next head coach, according to The Athletic.
Wells, 37, currently serves on the staff of Thomas Frank with the Europa League holders.

He has built a varied coaching résumé across several top-level environments.
Previously, he worked under Ange Postecoglou during the latter’s managerial tenure.
Wells also spent time on Scott Parker’s staff, adding further experience to his coaching profile.
