According to BILD, coach Vincent Kompany is planning to use the 39-year-old from the start again after Neuer tore a muscle fibre in his left calf in the 3-0 away win in Bremen around three weeks ago

There have already been signs in recent days that a return is imminent, with Neuer completing parts of the team training session at Säbener Straße on both Tuesday and Wednesday

Neuer had already tried to return to action as quickly as possible last week, but after a goalkeeping session he briefly complained of problems in his left leg and lumbar region

The experienced goalkeeper now appears to be fully fit again and, provided nothing unforeseen happens in the final training session, Neuer will be back in goal for FC Bayern on Friday evening against Borussia Mönchengladbach

His return would be an important factor for Munich in the decisive phase of the season in which the record champions are fighting for titles.
