Como and Milan have reached an agreement over a deal for centre-back Malick Thiaw, but the defender himself remains uncertain about the proposed move to join Cesc Fabregas’s side, Football Italia understands.
Como and Milan have a total agreement in place over a deal worth around €25m for 23-year-old centre-back Thiaw, who has spent the last three seasons in Serie A with the Rossoneri.
The agreement between the two clubs is part of a broader discussion that also includes Milan-owned striker Alvaro Morata, who could be included along with Thiaw for a combined cost of €35m plus bonuses.

However, while there is an agreement in place between the two clubs, Thiaw himself remains unconvinced by the move, and as things stand, there is no agreement on personal terms.
Head coach Cesc Fabregas has intervened in an attempt to convince Thiaw to join the ambitious project at the Stadio Sinigaglia, but the three-time Germany international still needs to be swayed.
Como are keen to add at least two specialist centre-backs to their squad for the 2025-26 season, and are also interested in Carl Starfelt from Celta Vigo.
