Como approach Manchester United for Malacia | OneFootball

Como continue to be extremely active in the January transfer window, as Sportitalia claim they have made an offer for Manchester United left-back Tyrell Malacia.

The 25-year-old Dutchman is only under contract until June 2026, although the club does have an option to extend for one more year.

A product of the Feyenoord youth academy, the 25-year-old made the transfer to Manchester United for €15m in the summer of 2022.

Malacia has had troubled career

He has made only five competitive appearances for Manchester United so far this season and is eager for more regular playing time.

It has not been easy for him, as he was out for a huge 17 months following two different knee operations.

According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, Como are in negotiations with the Premier League side for a possible summer transfer.

There are other clubs interested, while Como also have different options for the left-back role, including Fabiano Parisi at Fiorentina.

Malacia has nine senior caps for the Netherlands and has also been linked with Juventus over the last couple of days.
