Como in exciting 2-2 draw with Paris FC, Udinese lose Swansea City friendly | OneFootball

Como played an exciting 2-2 draw with Diego Coppola’s Paris FC, while Udinese were beaten 2-0 by Swansea City in today’s pre-season friendlies.

We are less than a month away from the start of the Serie A season, so the teams are beginning to gear up for the real games.

Como welcomed Paris FC to the Stadio Sinigaglia on the lake, though naturally Cesc Fabregas was still without his players who participated in the World Cup.

Andres Cuenca made his debut in defence after the move from Barcelona, and Alessandro Gabrielloni opened the scoring, but Paris FC turned it around with a brace from Pablo Pagis.

Tasos Douvikas came off the bench and scored the late equaliser for the final 2-2 score.

Udinese saw a big difference in fitness levels with Swansea City, who open their season on August 8 with the EFL Cup.

Liam Cullen scored an early goal, with new signing Elijah Just marking his debut with a goal late on for the 2-0 Swansea victory.
