Máximo Perrone Perrone is set to make his loan move to Como permanent with the two clubs talking over a fee.
The Argentinian impressed during his breakout season with Vélez Sarsfield that led to an £8 million move to Manchester City in 2023.
Perrone played just two games for the Citizens in the second half of the 2022/23 season both as substitutes against Bournemouth in the Premier League and Bristol City in the FA Cup.
With competition for places at the Etihad difficult, Perrone moved on loan to Las Palmas the following season before joining Cesc Fàbregas's Como for this season.
The Serie A side do have an option of extending Perrone's loan for another season but are currently negotiating to make the deal permanent after his first season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, City are looking for €30 million for the 22-year-old with Como opening their bidding at just €12 million but a deal is expected to be concluded.
Perrone has played 24 times for 10th-placed Como in this season, contributing three assists.
