Inter Milan have stepped up their pursuit of Como manager Cesc Fabregas after cutting ties with Simone Inzaghi.
Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Spaniard should join the Nerazzurri before the FIFA Club World Cup.
Cesc Fabregas went from strength to strength in his first season in top-flight management.
Indeed, the 38-year-old helped Como achieve a commendable 10th-place finish in their first Serie A season in more than 20 years.
Therefore, Beppe Marotta is hellbent on making him Inzaghi’s successor.

Inter will compete in the newly formatted Club World Cup later this month.
As such, they’re in a hurry to sign Fabregas.
However, the former Arsenal midfielder doesn’t have a UEFA Pro license.
Therefore, he would be ineligible to coach Inter in the upcoming tournament.
Indeed, he must complete the course at Coverciano to obtain the license.
Meanwhile, Inter could bypass this obstacle by obtaining another season-long exemption.
Either way, it’s hard to imagine Fabregas not traveling with the team to North America if he signs a contract.
