Como schedule Chalobah and Couto medicals after Chelsea and Dortmund deals | OneFootball

Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah will begin his Como medical on Wednesday, arriving for €30m plus €3m add-ons, while Yan Couto is also on the way from Borussia Dortmund.

Como have qualified for the Champions League just two years after promotion from Serie B, so are busy reinforcing the squad at the disposal of coach Cesc Fabregas.

After weeks of negotiations, including a period where they stepped aside to let Inter pursue him in a pact of non-aggression on the transfer market, Como finally agreed terms with Chelsea for Chalobah.

Sky Sport Italia confirm the final fee is €30m plus €3m in add-ons, and the England international should fly in on Wednesday to begin his medical tests.

There should also be a cut of the future sale fee.

Meanwhile, there should also be another new signing for Como, because transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano notes that they are down to the final details for Couto.

The former Manchester City right-back is set to arrive on loan from Borussia Dortmund for €2m, with an option to make it permanent at the end of the season for a further €20m.

The Brazilian just turned 24 and moved to Borussia Dortmund in 2024 for a total fee of €25m.
