Como have completed the signing of Italy forward Moise Kean on loan with an obligation to buy from Fiorentina on the final day of the 2026 Serie A summer window. The club said in a statement that the deal brings the 26-year-old to the Champions League newcomers.

The package is reported to be worth €40m in total, factoring in loan fee, permanent transfer and bonuses. Kean departs after two full seasons in Florence.

Fiorentina had paid €13m plus up to €5m to take him from Juventus in summer 2024. He scored 27 goals in 59 Serie A appearances, including 19 in 2024-25, with five in 11 Conference League games and one in his only Coppa Italia outing that season.

For Italy he has 13 goals from 26 caps, averaging one every two matches.

Kean is Como’s ninth signing of the summer, following Trevoh Chalobah, Mattia Liberali, Luis Milla, Yan Couto, Samuele Ricci, Andres Cuenca, Kaiki and Willy Kambwala.

He was determined to make the move and briefly refused to train with Fiorentina last week. He was fined, sent for individual work that afternoon, then ended his protest the following morning.

Como face a high-profile Champions League group, with home games against Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United and a trip to Barcelona.
