Como are interested in Luca Pellegrini. Lazio will have a surplus at left-back after Alfonso Pedraza joins as a free agent following the end of his Villarreal contract, the 29-year-old having signed in January.

With no European football next season, incoming head coach Gennaro Gattuso is unlikely to need more than two players in the role. According to Il Messaggero, he will most likely choose Pedraza and Nuno Tavares, leaving Pellegrini on the fringes.

Como have recently parted ways with Alberto Mereno and are seeking a new left-back to cover Alex Valle, making them a plausible destination for the 27-year-old.

A Roma youth product, Pellegrini had spells at Juventus, Genoa, Cagliari and Eintracht Frankfurt before joining his boyhood club, Lazio, in January 2023.

He has largely served as back-up, making 26 appearances in all competitions this season and scoring a memorable goal in the 3-3 draw with Udinese.

A Sky Sport Italia journalist told Radio Laziale that Pellegrini is currently the likely departure, noting his salary and the presence of Pedraza and Nuno Tavares as key factors.
