According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Como have set their sights on another Real Madrid talent, Cesar Palacios, as the Serie A side are looking for a replacement for Nico Paz, who will return to the Bernabeu for €10m.

Real Madrid Castilla star Cesar Palacios is one of the players Como are monitoring as a potential replacement for Nico Paz in 2026-27.

Real Madrid to pay 10m for Nico Paz’s return

The Argentine attacking midfielder is set to return to the Bernabeu in the summer as the Merengues are expected to activate their €10m buy-back option.

Inter Vice President Zanetti, a long-time admirer of Nico Paz and a former teammate of his father Pablo, has recently confirmed that the Como star will return to Madrid at the end of the season.

Palacios, 21, scorer of 14 goals in 40 appearances with Real Madrid Castilla, is one of the possible replacements for Paz at the Stadio Sinigaglia.

Just a few weeks ago, Fabregas confirmed that Como are looking for more promising Real Madrid players to strengthen their team.

Even Jacobo Ramon, a 21-year-old centre-back, switched Madrid for Como last summer, leaving the La Liga giants with a buy-back clause.

According to Gazzetta, Chuki (Valladolid) and Fares Chaibi (Eintracht Frankfurt) are also being followed by Como.
