Computer predicts Serie A 2026/27 winners, top 4 and doomed to relegation | OneFootball

Inter remain the favourites to win the Serie A title this season, according to the Opta Predictor, followed by Roma, Como and Juventus, with Milan, Napoli and Lazio missing out on the Champions League.

We are just five rounds into the 2026/27 campaign and there are three sides locked together at the top on 13 points, specifically Inter, Roma and Lazio.

Nobody still has a 100 per cent record and there have been no 0-0 draws yet this term in 50 encounters.

Serie A repeat expected for Inter

The Corriere dello Sport and Opta crunched the numbers and the supercomputer came up with the Expected Points for this term.

They give Inter a 45 per cent chance of winning the Scudetto on at least 78 points, followed by Roma on around 73 points, giving the Giallorossi only a 22 per cent chance of victory.

Como are tipped to finish third, an advance on their fourth place last term, with Juventus capturing the last Champions League spot.

Milan are expected to come in fifth for the second season in a row, this time followed by Lazio.

The biggest surprise is that the computer algorithm predicts Napoli will only come in seventh, which would be worth only a place in the Conference League.

Atalanta, Cagliari and Sassuolo are considered likely to complete the Serie A top 10.

As for relegation, Venezia already look doomed after losing all five opening games, giving them a 73.52 per cent chance of the drop.

Genoa and Parma are also in trouble, battling Monza and Lecce for safety.
