Conference League fixtures: Fiorentina start with The New Saints | OneFootball

Fiorentina will begin their Conference League League Phase against The New Saints on October 3, concluding with a visit to Vitoria SC on December 19.

As with the Champions League and Europa League, UEFA have also transformed this European club tournament this season to remove the traditional group phase.

Instead, they will face six different opponents – three at home and three away – with all the results going into a single league table.

The Viola earned qualification for the competition thanks to a penalty shoot-out victory over Puskas Akademia, having drawn 4-4 on aggregate and played extra time when down to nine men.

They have reached the last two editions of the Conference League Final, losing to West Ham United in 2023 and Olympiacos in 2024.

The opening fixture this time will be at the Stadio Artemio Franchi against Welsh side The New Saints, although the arena is currently undergoing restructuring work, so has a vastly reduced capacity.
