Andoni Iraola is reportedly excited to be working with a fantastic winger at Liverpool. It’s been confirmed that he'll get the chance.
Andoni Iraola has made a big jump in his career. The Spaniard was fantastic for Bournemouth, helping them grow into a team that could actually compete for European places.
But things will be different at Liverpool. The expectations are to qualify for the UEFA Champions League every season and show clear progress towards being one of the absolute best teams in the world.
Of course, he'll be given the tools with which to do that. Iraola will suddenly have some of the most talented players in world football at his disposal and Liverpool will hopefully give him more.
There is, however, one major question mark when it comes to the playing staff. What will be done with Rio Ngumoha?

It took Arne Slot an incredibly long time - and mounting pressure - to trust the teenager consistently. That brought about a problem as it was reported after the season that Ngumoha's representatives told Bayern Munich that he'd sign for them.
They just needed to convince Liverpool to sell.
Now, the Athletic says that will not happen. Liverpool are committed to Ngumoha and will keep him in the squad for Iraola.
But it's very clear that the new head coach must do what he can to keep the teenager on side. Ngumoha will have his head turned quickly otherwise and he's not exactly on a long contract.
The report makes it sound like that won't be a problem, though. It's written that Iraola is 'relishing the chance to help ensure [Ngumoha] realises his rich potential'.
That's what we want to hear and what Liverpool will want to hear, too. A major season for Ngumoha may be on the way and one that could solidify his place in the first-team setup for a long time to come.
