FC Barcelona have confirmed that five players will leave the club’s reserve team, Barça Atletic, when their contracts expire on June 30, bringing an end to their time with the Blaugrana.
Víctor Barbera, Joaquin Delgado, Oscar Urena, Ander Astralaga and Emilio Bernad will not be part of Juliano Belletti’s squad next season.
Announcing their departures the club thanked each player for their professionalism and commitment before wishing them success in the next stage of their careers.
The departure of Barbera was widely expected. The 21-year-old striker concludes his second stint at Barcelona after returning from Club Brugge two years ago.
His comeback was disrupted by injuries, limiting his impact for much of his time with the reserve team. Despite those setbacks, he finished the season strongly and became an important member of Belletti’s squad during the club’s push for a promotion playoff place.
He is now expected to continue his career with Real Valladolid.
Forward Joaquín Delgado also leaves after a productive but brief spell at Estadi Johan Cruyff. Signed on loan from Real Oviedo’s reserve side during the winter transfer window, the 24-year-old quickly established himself as an attacking threat,
After he scored seven goals in just 16 appearances, Barcelona considered making the move permanent, but no agreement was reached, meaning Delgado will return to Oviedo.
Winger Urena also departs following the expiration of his contract. He joined Barcelona Atlètic from Girona in the summer of 2024, but injuries limited his influence during his first campaign.
Although he played a larger role during his second season, he was unable to establish himself as one of the team’s decisive players.

Barcelona have also confirmed the departures of two goalkeepers.
Emilio Bernad leaves after just one season with the reserve team. The 26-year-old joined Barcelona shortly after signing for Teruel, accepting the opportunity to fulfill his dream of representing the Blaugrana. He is now expected to continue his career abroad.
Ander Astralaga also brings his eight-year association with Barcelona to an end. The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Granada and now departs permanently after progressing through the club’s academy system.
