John Brooks has been named as the referee for Manchester City’s defining Premier League clash with West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola’s side can become the first team to win four consecutive Premier League titles this weekend, with Manchester City needing a win over West Ham on Sunday to secure a sixth title in seven years.

The Sky Blues, who remain unbeaten since early December, moved two points clear at the top of the Premier League table on Tuesday night, after Erling Haaland’s brace helped Manchester City to a first victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The 23-year-old opened the scoring in the 51st minute after Kevin De Bruyne’s delightful cross, prior to ensuring a major win in the 91st minute from the penalty spot, after Jeremy Doku was fouled by Pedro Porro.

Sunday’s fixture will mark David Moyes’ final game as West Ham manager, with Manchester City having previously beaten the Hammers on the final day of the 2013/14 campaign to win the Premier League title at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City haven’t lost at home to West Ham since September 2015, and are unbeaten in their past 18 matches across all competitions.

The Blues came from behind to beat West Ham at the London Stadium in September, and have recently taken points off of Liverpool, drawing 2-2 in east London with Jurgen Klopp’s side last month.

Ahead of a crucial concluding clash at the Etihad Stadium between Manchester City and West Ham, the Premier League have announced the Match Officials for the fixture.

Match Referee

John Brooks has been named as the referee for Manchester City’s clash against West Ham on Sunday afternoon at the Etihad Stadium.

The 34-year-old has officiated 32 matches across all competitions so far this season, showing 133 yellow cards and six red cards.

The referee last took charge of Manchester City in April, overseeing the Blues’ 5-1 win over Luton Town at the Etihad Stadium.

Assistant Referees

Brooks will be accompanied at the Etihad Stadium by Assistant Referees Lee Betts and Akil Howson.

Video Assistant Referees

Overviewing proceedings will be Video Assistant Referee Jarred Gillett and Assistant Video Assistant Referee Tim Wood.
