Confirmed: Real Madrid duo start for Brazil in friendly vs Australia | OneFootball

The first international break of the 2026/27 season is underway and a large part of the Real Madrid squad is away representing their respective national teams.

Two of those players happen to be Vinicius Jr. and Endrick, who have been called up by Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti.

And, both the Real Madrid forwards have now been named in the starting XI by the legendary Italian tactician as the Selecao get set to take on Australia in their first friendly match.

Indeed, Endrick, who has struggled for prominence at Real Madrid this season since recently recovering from a pre-season injury, gets the nod in the No. 9 position for the Brazilian national team in Townsville.

Meanwhile, Vinicius, who has been under scrutiny for a poor start to the season, will feature on his customary left-wing position, hoping to rediscover his best form.

Ancelotti has backed the Real Madrid winger to turn things around and will hope to see the Brazilian shine today against Australia.

Barcelona’s Raphinha, who is the leading goalscorer in La Liga this season, also features in attack, alongside Chelsea prodigy Estevao.
