Antonio Conte has decided to stay at Napoli after receiving reassurances from President Aurelio De Laurentiis over a series of concerns, claim reports in Italy.
The coach had been pushing towards the exit for months, despite the fact it was his debut season and culminated in victory of the Serie A title.
With players, fans, his family and staff all urging him to reconsider, Conte had a crisis meeting with President De Laurentiis on Tuesday to go over his demands.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, it proved successful, because the coach decided he will remain and might even consider a new contract.
The imminent arrival of free agent Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City was already a strong signal, with more investments promised on the transfer market.

Above all, he was concerned with the restructuring of the training pitches, which have been an issue for Napoli going back to the Rafa Benitez era.
Meanwhile, Napoli had lined up Max Allegri to replace Conte, but he is instead expected to sign a three-year contract with Milan today.
