Michael Olise has developed into one of the most exciting attacking players in the world in a very short space of time. It is therefore hardly surprising that those in charge at Munich are already thinking about the Frenchman’s long-term future. Nevertheless, Bayern clearly want to take their time with a possible contract extension
The 24-year-old is currently one of the most in-form attacking players in the German record champions‘ squad. With his technique, creativity and goal threat, Olise regularly provides spectacular moments in the Bayern game. Interest in his sporting future is correspondingly high – even beyond the Bundesliga
Recent media reports have suggested that several top Premier League clubs are keeping a close eye on the attacking star’s situation, with Liverpool FC in particular repeatedly mentioned as a potential interested party should Mohamed Salah’s future with the Reds change
However, FC Bayern are apparently extremely relaxed about the situation
As reported by BILD , those responsible are definitely looking at a contract extension for Olise. The Frenchman’s current contract runs until 2029 – a comfortable starting position from Bayern’s point of view
BILD head of soccer Christian Falk explained in the Bayern Insider podcast that the club is planning for the long term with the attacking player: „FC Bayern naturally has ambitions to extend the contract until 2031.“
At the same time, however, Falk emphasized that there is currently no reason for hectic negotiations: „The contract currently runs long enough and gives Bayern security.“
Instead, those responsible want to focus on other personnel matters first, with contract talks with key players such as Manuel Neuer, Harry Kane and Konrad Laimer currently the focus of squad planning

In addition to his sporting qualities, Olise has apparently also quickly made a name for himself within the team. According to information from BILD, the attacking player also plays an important role off the pitch
BILD reporter Julian Agardi reports that Olise plays a much more active role in the dressing room than his public appearance would suggest. „Internally, he is even considered a joker in the dressing room,“ Agardi explained in the podcast
At the same time, the Frenchman is said to be in regular contact with coach Vincent Kompany, with the two communicating intensively during matches in particular
Despite the recurring rumors, there are currently no signs that Olise is seeking a transfer, according to BILD information. On the contrary: the attacking player apparently feels very comfortable in Munich
Nevertheless, it is clear that the club has long-term plans for the Frenchman – and a contract extension is likely to become an issue sooner or later. Until then, Munich can relax and monitor the situation.
